Time
Nov 10, 2021
I would like the planet to stop,
Even just for a second,
That I may catch up.
There’s never enough time,
It slips by like sand,
Ever evading the grasp of my hand.
I needed longer, more,
The space to step back,
Before the close of the door.
And now all I have,
Is a memory, but still no time enough yet,
On which to pause, take stock, and reflect.
